While thumbing through the Newspaper: "Spooky Halloween Fun and the Man who is Disgraced by Them" ... Clio Chiang is an animation student at Cap College in Vancouver. Remember to check out the daily sketch blog too. Elwood H. Smith is an illustrator and animator who lives in New York. He has a very unique style that is both quirky and endearing. Atomic Cartoons and Cartoon Network's Atomic Betty has a new website. I haven't seen the show, but the art is pretty. Brad Fitzpatrick is another illustrator and animator from the Northeast. He has a sketch blog too, as well as a hearty collection of nice links. Here's a story that I heard on NPR this morning. It talks about Michael Eisner's prediction that he won't be getting his contract with Disney renewed in 2006 (way to peer into the future Mike) and the reports that Yahoo CEO Terry Semel is the leading contender for the job. ... There hasn't been much activity over at the Pencil Haus... well, other than my posts... then again I'm the one with no life.
