On an unrelated note, nine years ago my now wife and I started dating. We were both in high school; she was a freshman and I was a sophomore. After she agreed to be my gal, I light a cigarette while our friends all sang a rousing version of

This morning, rather than measuring out the coffee for the coffee pot with a scoop for consistent measurement, I caught myself reaching into the bag with my bare hand, thus confirming that I am a horrible caveman-troll-monster.

Babe
Ugh. Such a busy week this past week. TONS to do. Lots of traveling, lots to do at work, lots of freelance to do after work, lots of crimes to solve, lots of babies to pacify, lots of dogs to bathe, lots of fences to build, lots of monsters to slay, lots of songs to sing, lots of moonshine to make... well, maybe it wasn't THAT busy, but it felt like it.
This is a drawing that I've been thinking about for the last week or so. This evening I finally had a chance to get it out. It's Babe the Blue Ox... Paul Bunyan's pal. I think I'd like to take a stab at illustrating him next.

The World's Strongest Man
Here's something I did recently. It's of the World's Strongest Man. You know he's strong because he's holding an elephant and is covered in tattoos. What you don't know is that he sings in the choir every Sunday morning and doesn't know how to roller skate. Here's a detail:
